I was replacing my overgrip today, it's sticking to my original grip and tore some small chunk of my original grip out. So I had a creative thought. You know there is a very thin layer of clear plastic protecting the outside surface of overgrip. It almost feels like saran wrap. I used that to wrap it over my original grip first. Then I applied my overgrip so next time they won't stick together. It's also replaceable when I replace my overgrip next time. We'll see how it stands..=D
Just finished playing 3hrs today. No it didn't fly across the court and yes its still pretty tightly wrapped. I like to overlap at least 1/3 of the overgrip
I've been doing this long time ago but wrapping the clear plastics on the wood (as I removed original grip). Nothing such as racket flying happen and the condition of the wood is still brand new whenever I replace a new grip. This is the clip I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pek-bQudjtA&p=13CC1110121ED9A6&playnext=1&index=15
