I was replacing my overgrip today, it's sticking to my original grip and tore some small chunk of my original grip out. So I had a creative thought. You know there is a very thin layer of clear plastic protecting the outside surface of overgrip. It almost feels like saran wrap. I used that to wrap it over my original grip first. Then I applied my overgrip so next time they won't stick together. It's also replaceable when I replace my overgrip next time. We'll see how it stands..=D

Unless you want your racquet flying across the court then no.

Just finished playing 3hrs today. No it didn't fly across the court and yes its still pretty tightly wrapped. I like to overlap at least 1/3 of the overgrip

Are you talking about the original wrapping on the stock grip or the wrapper on the overgrip?

Wrapper on new replacement grip is applicable too.
