    Hey guys i just wanted to pass the word along for a tournament our varsity is holding. Here is some info. Hope to see you guys there. If you guys need additional info contact the name below. Hope to see everyone there. This is a tournament held in toronto however i don't think it's limited to just residences in toronto.

    HIGH SCHOOL BADMINTON INVITATIONAL
    MARCH 14-15

    HOSTED BY: YORK UNIVERSITY VARSITY BADMINTON TEAM

    FORMAT: A B C D Flights (entries permitting)

    Friday, March 14, 2003 Boy’s Singles 6:00 PM

    Saturday, March 15, 2003 Girl’s Singles 10:00 AM
    Boy’s Doubles 10:00 AM
    Girl’s Doubles 12:30 PM
    Mixed Doubles 3:30 PM

    Please register at the draw desk at least ½ hour before your event. If there are players who will be late on Friday, please inform us by phone or by e-mail, otherwise a 10-MINUTE DEFAULT & 3-MINUTE WARM-UP RULE will be enforced.

    LOCATION: York University, main campus
    Tait McKenzie Building (Main Gym)
    4700 Keele Street, North York

    AWARDS: Prizes will be awarded to all finalists and winners

    ENTRY FEE: $15.00 for one event
    $25.00 for two events
    $30.00 for three events
    (Cheques payable to York University Varsity Badminton Team)

    I would be going, but my district championships are tomorrow and Saturday, so I'm playing there instead. It was easier to figure rides and such, whereas for preofsaa I didn't find out until near the deadline, so no room to plan.

    Hopefully, I'll see you guys at the actual OFSAA. :)

    Hey to those who came out for the York Tournament thanks :). It was a great turn out. Hey desmond a.k.a reaper? I think that was reaper in anycase nice meeting you i didn't recall the name when i was there but nice meeting you anyways.

    Saturday was a great turnout, but Friday certainly wasn't. I was forced to play A flight because my first 2 matches were won by default since the other player's decided not to come.

    as for me, decided to lose my second round match on purpose to avoid lucas... haha

    Good idea nanashi but playing lucas would have been a good experience. Experience that most of the high school students need :).

    Hey Nick,
    Do you know what was the score between Lucas, Yu-Hin and Aiden, Jason for doubles? All I know is that Lucas and them lost.

    I'm not sure zero i was busy catering the players in the upper gym however i can find out if you are that interested in the score. All i know lucas wasn't feeling well the entire weekend. PM me if you are more interested in the score.

    haha. i got lucky with mixed cause i got paired up with a really good partner n actually got a gold medal thingy. c flite though. it's still good
