Deep Heat,

    What exatly is this product? i know its used to relieve stress in some muscles but does it really work? thanks.

    Well, Wikipedia says that Deep Heat is a spray or cream with these ingredients:

    Most of these type of rubs feel warm and tingly (don't get too excited) and they can bring heat deep into stiff sore muscles. Quite a few people find it quite nice for low back pain. Other people find it a bit irritating and not at all helpful.

    All that to say, try it and see if you like it for your favorite cramp or stiff back.:)

    Personally, I go for Tiger Balm! Fixes everything! :p




    No, seriously, probably the only active ingredient in Deep Heat or the like is methyl salicylate, which acts like a local analgesic anti-inflammatory.

    Voltaren (diclofenac) emulgel, I find, is better... :)
