    Dear friends,

    The time has come again for the next Siglap Open Badminton Championship. This year’s edition will be our biggest prize/money event ever, with a total of more than S$3,000 worth of products to be won, and we hope you can be part of this tournament.

    We would like to officially welcome you to take part in Siglap Open Badminton Championship 2010 (SOBC 2010) which runs from 11th December 2010 to 19th December 2010. Registration form (Form A) and rules and regulations information are enclosed for your reference.



    In our bid to continue improving our tournament standard and quality, a few major changes had been made to this year’s tournament.


    1. All participants will receive an event T-shirt,
    2. SOBC 2010 will be open to all interested participants. There will no longer be any restrictions on the nationality of participants,
    3. All matches will be competed based on best of three (3) games of twenty (21) points, rally system,
    4. In anticipation of increased participation, please note that Saturday mornings (11th and 18th December 2010) will be scheduled for matches as well.

    Categories up for grab this year would be.

    1. Men's Singles (Open)
    2. Men's Doubles (Open)
    3. Mixed Doubles (Open)
    4. Men's Doubles (Veteran, Age 45 and above)
    5. Women's Singles (Open)

    We hope to see you at Siglap come December!

    Haha, standard high or not, depends on what's ur standard lo. But YangYang did join last year, he came in joint third in the men's singles (open) event. :)

    wow you have rich sponsors! presume the "products" are badminton rackets/bags? Any cash prizes? Am asking for my friend.... Thanks.

    Yeah, we have very supportive sponsors this year. Cash yes, but will be for the champions only. Amount yet to be confirmed.

    He didn't really lost la. The score was tied at 20-20, and YangYang unfortunately injured himself. :( and had to retire from the tournament. what a waste!

    haha yeap I just saw the draws and results LOLZ!..so that means he is really wong keng hwo lor..so he not bad la.able to tie with zhixiang..
