    Hello everyone,

I've seen very little information in this forum or the internet about a new racket from Yonex in the Arcsaber range, that is to replace the Arcsaber 5. The Arcsaber 5DX. From what I can see it has a medium flex (a little more stiff than Arcsaber 7) and it's slightly head heavy. I comes in orange and pink!

I haven't heard this racket (Arcsaber 5DX) mentioned much at all though, even though it is for sale in Asia already. See for example:

    http://shuttle-house.com/new-cgi/page2_i.php?mk=YONEX&lan=e&hid=ARC5DX

I wonder if anyone here has already tried this racquet and can compare it with the Arcsaber 5? What is the difference exactly? How does this racquet compare to the Arcsaber 7 and last, but not least, is there a difference between the two colours in which you can order the racquet? Does anybody have an idea when this racquet is scheduled for release in Europe?

    Fire away!

    I am an ArcSaner fan...
    I have Arc7, Arc 9 and Arc 9...
ArcSabers' Knowledge I think mainly is CS nanotube tecknology...
ArcSaber 5 didn't exactly own the so called CS nanotube...anther kind of Nano tecknology which I didnt notice...

There comes a news that the economic crisis, the Yonex face to the high schoold student and desined the ArcSaber 5DX whose price is much lower than any other ArcSabers but I don't know how much exactly the price is...

I am still waiting the rackets to launch...maybe in the spring of 2011...

What I'm mostly wondering is if those typical 'Arcsaber' techniques are applied to this new version of the Arcsaber 5. If there is anyone who can read Japanse (which I suspect this is written in, see picture), can they please tell me what techniques are applied in the Arcsaber 5DX

It's written there even balance and suitable for all round player. For the hit feeling bar, left is soft, right is stiff. Suitable for intermediate player.

This isn't true. It says releasing in December on the Shuttle House web.

It probably will be an improved version of ARC5, similar to ARC7 only in terms of shaft flex. It is more head heavy than ARC7. Also, from the advert page you posted, it seems it has the flagship technology of the ARC series, CS Carbon Nanotubes, whereas ARC5 doesn't. Also, it has the special characteristic of the DX series which has a recommended tension of up to 27lbs. I doubt there are any differences between the colours.

Wow, you could get an 8DX for that price. I'd wait for the full specs to be released before pre-ordering. I personally don't really like the colours tho.

the racket already arrived in Msia, the color look fun, younger and more feminine. Pricing at the racket about RM540+, so after discount maybe can get RM400. Anybody got experience with it?
