Due to unforseen circumstances, Suria Sports Badminton Centre are unable to host the final match day of Modesliga 4th Season which will be held on 02-03-2013. Thus the Modesliga organizer have not choice but to move the final match day to another location. The organizer have decided the final match day will be held at SP Sports Forum 19 Badminton Hall. No changes on the date and time. The final match will still be held on 02-03-2013. Time from 8pm-11pm.
The court allocation of all the matches to be play on that day will be out soon. The prize presentation will be held after all the matches have ended on 02-03-2013.
On behalf of Suria Sports management and Modesliga organizer, we would like to apologize for all the inconvenient cause.

Suria Sports management have informed us last Saturday that the Modesliga Badminton League 4th Season final match CAN BE HELD within their venue.

Please IGNORE our earlier announcement and we will see you at Suria Sports Badminton Centre on the 02-03-2013.

Sorry for the inconvenient cause.

We are proud to bring it to you, the Modesliga Badminton League 2013 Rules & Regulations. The document can be downloaded from the Modesliga website at www.modesliga.com.my side bar.

Key changes :

1) Current Men Double featuring 1 veteran player category will be changed to Men Veteran Double.

2) A new category was introduce. Men Junior Veteran Double for players age between 30 - 39. This new category will replace 1 of the 3 Men Double Open.

3) The sequence of the play now will be changed as listed below :
a) Mixed Double
b) Men Veteran Double
c) Men Junior Veteran Double
d) 1st Men Open Double
e) 2nd Men Open Double

In the year 2013, Modesliga is expanding the league to area that will be categorised as ZONE. We will concentrate our attention current to three zones which is KEPONG ZONE and SUBANG ZONE. The league details of each zone are as listed below :

KEPONG ZONE
League Name : FlexPro Modesliga Badminton League (KEPONG ZONE)
Kick Off Date : 4th May 2013

Selangor Darul Ehsan
Malaysia
Day : Saturday
Time : 8.00pm - 11.00pm

It is confirmed the registration for KEPONG ZONE will begin in the month of MARCH 2013. The exact date and also registration procedure will be announce soon.

We would like to remind all the team to get all the player information and PHOTO ready. The registration will not be complete if the photos are not submitted.

For each team registration, a refundable deposit of RM300.00 and RM100.00 registration fees which totaling an amoung of RM400.00 need to be submitted.

Interested team will need to fill up the Team Registration Form.doc which can be downloaded from www.modesliga.com.my side bar with RM300.00 refundable deposit and RM100.00 registration fee.

13rd Apr 2013 Captain Meeting
Location of the meeting will be announce soon.

14th Apr – 21st Apr 2013 2 weeks Player Registration
Team will now need to submit their players name.

22nd Apr – 1st May 2013 10 calendar days, players verification
Teams are given this period of time to check on all the players registered to make sure all players are correctly classify.

Final change on R&R regarding the ELITE PLAYERS DEFINITION. The document can be downloaded from the Modesliga website at www.modesliga.com.my side bar.

Key changes :

1) For players who participated in a junior, senior or even veteran international tournament organized by Badminton World Federation or Badminton Asia Confederation, he/she will be consider as an ELITE player.

The below R&R will be NO LONGER VALID :

1) For players who participated in a junior, senior or even veteran international tournament organized by Badminton World Federation or Badminton Asia Confederation and was held in Malaysia, he/she will NOT be consider as an ELITE player.

2) For players who participated in a junior, senior or even veteran international tournament organized by Badminton World Federation or Badminton Asia Confederation and was held outside of Malaysia, he/she will NOT be consider as an ELITE player if the player was a citizen, permanent resident, pursuing their career or studies in that country where the tournament was held during that period of time.
