Have any one tried Yonex (yellow) Z-Slash and the newer Taufik Hidayat Edition of Z-Slash?

I was told the TH is more head heavy and stiffer then the original yellow version. Or is it just the same racket with different painting? Can any one give the comparison?

Is TH even more slower in playing Double? I am assuming since Taufik is a single player the characteristic of the TH version should be more catering to Single then Double.

I want to play Double with better defense and net play. Which version is better?

It's just the same Z slash. Just the paint job and yonex specially design a Taufik hidayat himself version of the Z Slash.

I own a (pro series of) Taufik version Z Slash. Though i never used the yellow color original version of Z Slash. Beside the paint jobs, I believe there are differences between these two. The Yonex limited editions are modified version of AT900P, Arc10 and Z Slash. These 3 models are tested and modified to suit the pros (LCW, PG, TH respectively).
For example, Lee CW limited edition model, i've heard it's a heavier version of AT900P.

maybe if you buy one you'll play like them!

i think it's just paint job (aesthetics)
but there's also the psychological aspect
your opponent won't take you seriously if you use a clownsaber

Yes, this is all psychological effect, they aren't much different, just the paint do the job
The colour may also effect our mind, the red/black/strip of th version can give a psychological effect
It happened before on AT700 1st Gen and AT700 2nd Gen, they only add more graphite but the feeling is still the same, just the oldy colour make you feel better
It is different if they say so, may check at the racket range
If feeling suspicious, may contact them via mail

i ve tried 3 pcs Yellow Slash and 1 z salsh TH...believe it or not, i feel TH easier to use and more powerful,i dont know why...previously i ve tried 3 yellow cos im very curious why this racket very difficult to use, hard to find sweet spot....last week i tried TH s version, since 1st hit i felt that it s an amazing racket...im sure that s not just psychological. at least 3 friend said that my stroke quality much better, smash more powerful, and lob is effortless. FYI im play badminton since almost 30 years and im intermediate player, a lot of racket i ve been used before and none like TH version. The only one minus is the price, it s to high since i ve just bought AT900 T IP code.

add: i ve tried Slash TH with BG 85 string, the string that i hate most before

After I change my style of the game, Z become my favour and I use NBG98 with 24/25.5
It felt great with lots of smashing power and accuracy :)

Hi everyone, I have 2 of these yellow one, and they are so good that once you get used to them no other racket never come close to it, I use BG66 Ult, have try 26lb, 27lb, and 28lb because I have my own string machine, I found that (for myself and my style) 26lb is too far low because these racket are design for fast action and fast wip style, but I couldnt handle 28lb its give me sore arm, but 27lb feel good just for me, there again the pro are use upto 34lb.

Now I just order the TH version, Im going to try it hope its the same as the yellow one, soon I will let you know.

    cheers

should be the same racket with a different paint job, but since even two of the same racket could feel different, these two rackets can certainly feel different. Tago still uses it for singles i think while TH have moved onto the Arc11?

i've seen good players play well with the zslash, so it's certainly doable. :)

if you know someone who has one and borrow it, go for it. if you're buying one just to try it out, you are wasting your money if you're not a collector, that is just my opinion. but please let us know of your findings after you've tested one :)
