well i want your opinion on the most worth it badminton strings in the market...the price range is about rm20-30 oh and i love to HIT HARD!
Other than bg65 and bg66. The bg80s, bg65ti, bg68ti, bg70pro are all good strings. Up your budget abit and you get nbg95, nbg98. These are the more worthy strings i feel.
Hah I'd say the Ashaway ZyMax string. As cheap (sometimes cheaper than) BG65, but with all the playability of BG66/BG80 and much better durability. Best value, and best price too. Unless you're willing to spend three times as much for NGY98 or BG66 Ultimax
I have to say, I was a keen lover of the BG65 and BG80 for awhile but having to come back alot to my stringer (1hr Drive there and back. He's usually busy so I have to come back on the next day which isn't great) kinda got to my limits. The Ashaway ZyMax is worth trying. The .62 and the .67 (which I'm using right now) has got my thumbs up =].
For most of us who pay ~$15USD and up to our stringers the cost of the string is not that much compared to the fee. Choosing something that doesn't lose its playability quickly is a good choice. Two of those qualities being string durability and tension retainability. I don't switch strings too often and can vouch for BG 80 BG66 Maxima some that i've read about. ZyMax , most popular being zymax 67 NBG98 (nanology 98) BG68Ti Ashway Micro Power (actually hit with this a few times and feels pretty good) BG70 pro I would stay away from BG65 - string is cheap performance is good week 1, but tension drops rather quickly and playablity drops as time goes by. BG66 - String snaps quite consistently NBG95 - A lot of mixed reviews regarding this string, since there are better options nowadays, i wouldn't bother to test this string. Another thing to factor is string tickness. If your stringing at the high 27+ with thick strings. It may be better to try a thinner string and string 2lbs less (for similar performance). This would prolong the life of your racket at the expense of a little durability loss on the string. Some people will swear by their .70mm string at 30+lbs tension for me a .68 gauge at 28lbs plays just as good.
I chose exactly the same strings even though stringing cost is not too high here. I'm just too lazy to go restring my rackets too often.
Wow thats ridiculous. I always make sure my customer gets the racket back within 48 hours, unless they tell me they won't be back for it for a while. When a customer tells me he won't come get for a week, I wait until 24-48 hours before pickup to make sure the stringjob is both as fresh as possible, while having been giving enough time to settle.
If you buy in large quanties I can offer you any Yonex strings or Zymax 62 and Zymax 67 at prices from RM9 inclusive of air delivery. Qty should be about 150 pcs or more. Yonex strings come directly from Yonex in single packets and Zymax strings come in cut pieces from bulk reels of 1,000 meters.
Professional stringers can finish a stringing job within one hour (using electronic machine). vipjun, unless your stringer has a lot of pending orders, otherwise I don't see how it will take one week for them to do it. I can't help but to think that if they do any stringing job for tournament, will I get my racquet back before the tournament ends??
