I would use sonic studio. I use it and it's the best. So many cool features

cool edit is THE best. Sonic studio is a pain to use for something like chopping up tracks. Though for what JChen99 is needing, sounrecorder and a mp3 en/decorder would do the job just fine.

    For chopping music?
    Cool edit:
    1. open file (2 seconds)
    2. drag sectoin (1 second)
    3. save section (4 seconds)

beat that with sonic! I havent used Sonic Studio but i did try Sonic Foundry for all of 3 minutes before being turned off by how overpowered the interface looked (and how little it actually did.)

This one win hands down in the value department; all of the above pales in comparison to this.
