which will make better string for a beginner player? +wads the best tension for a beginner? my prefrences- high repulsion - don't care about durability -likes the sound and feel on impact -sorry been making quite some threads lately...want to know more about badminton
It is hard to distinguish which of the brand/series are better for beginners. But I always assume BG65 is a good string for beginners. Anyhow, since you care only about repulsion, Yonex BG66 is a good string to start especially if you don't care about durability. I also heard Zymax 62 is also another great string that offers superb repulsion. I would suggest starting with a tension of 22-24lbs.
well i tried bg 66/65 it's quite good...but i am thinking of bg80..but it's pricey so..shud i use bg 66 or bg80?
bg80 is more expensive? by how much? it lasts longer than bg66, that should make up for the slightly higher cost.
oh ya~ by string durability what does it mean? will strings break?? cause i never break any string before so i had 0 experience....
Wait if you don't care about durability then why do you need to know what it means...... Since you tried BG-66 before then either switch to BG-80 or why not just stay with bg-66 and increase your tension by 2 lbs.
y increase the tension? isn't higher tension for better players? i usually have my tension at 22...so if i +to 24 then i don't need to change my string?
Well you asked whats a good tension for a beginner so I was guessing you don't like your current tension. Also you said that you don't really care for durability so maybe if you up the tension you may get more outta your current string. Also BG-80 at 22lbs is meh kinda dead imo. Atleast 26lbs+
dead..? u mean unresponsive..? so bg80 isn't fit for brginners then ..so is there a zymax string that's suitable for beginner?
oh...so...ahh! confused what strings shud i sue then?? bg66/65 used b4 bg80 said need more tension NBG series too expensive....more opinions please !
