I was wondering if their was any interest for a badminton club in the Dartmouth- Halifax area? thanks Blanex
Have you joined any of the Halifax Recreation offerings? http://eservices2.halifax.ca/recconnect/Activities/ActivitiesDetails.asp?ProcessWait=N&aid=3447 Or are you looking to set up your own club?
i am looking to set up my own club because the only one that i can find (besides school teams) is sackville and they dont have a website.
Hi blanex, I am very interested! Actually I just moved into Halifax and I am looking for someone to play with and a place to play. Where are you playing? Hope you have some informations for me. I am a intermediate - advanced player.
Edith, if you are an advanced player, you should definitely contact the nova scotia badminton association (www.nsba.ca). They can hook you up with the high-level feather players in town. And I'm sure they'd love to have your help with the juniors and the upcoming Canada Games. For intermediate to high-intermediate there are often good players at Dalplex. The best way to meet them is to go to on of the Dalhousie Badminton Club nights. http://athletics.dal.ca/intramurals_clubs/recreational_clubs/badminton.html
Hi everyone, If any of you play badminton and live in Dartmouth, my friend is trying to organize a weekend badminton club at the CFB Shearwater Gym and I just became a part of the club. It's either Saturday or Sunday, or both days and from 12-4pm or 1-4pm. You could write me back or search on Facebook "Weekend Badminton at Shearwater" for more details.
I would say it's drop in; a group of people getting together whenever they could so I can't guarantee that this is what you're looking for but I think it's worth to try.
Hi, Just wanted to let you know that I'll be at the Shearwater Gym this Sunday from 12-4pm. There should be a few people to play some games. If you are free, you are more than welcome to join us. K
Hey there, I would say "no" unfortunately. But if you live in Dartmouth and are looking for Beginner and Intermediate (but not competitive) level, I would recommend to check a French school in Dartmouth, called "School of Carefour", 201 DU PORTAGE AVE, Dartmouth. It's $5 drop-in and on Thursdays from 7-8:45pm. Best, K
