haha I'm not a professional, but I've always been using Carbonex 8 sp, which my dad passed on to me, the grip is proper worn down to the wood... need a new grip...
I think I might be using the oldest racket around, on a regular basis. A made-in-China, Shanghai, Aeroplane model 515 wooden racket. I would normally use this racket for my first couple of games (doubles) before switching over to more recent composite/ graphite rackets like Wilson, Victor, Yonex ones.
It will be very rare to see a pro using old models. If he/she is sponsored, I doubt if he/she can use his/her preferred older models.
Miyuki Maeda once used MP90 => CAB23 or CAB35 she now using VOLTRIC70 I watch at Yonex Open Japan this year. Her partner Suetsuna still using CAB23.
Taiwanese WD/XD player Cheng Wen Hsing still stuck to her Victor Z3000 (formerly named ZhaoJianHua3000) in the 2010 Asian Games.
