Many people on many forums will take someone’s post and quote a part of it. They will then twist the meaning completely out of shape, and give the original message a completely new interpretation. Why? Just to make their point and to try and discredit someone else. Are there such people on BC? I’ll let you answer that question yourself. :)

Here is a simple and fun illustration of my point; some BCers may be familiar with it (or a version!)

Oh! John, please don’t stop loving me ever!
Obviously a pledge for everlasting love.

Oh! John, please don’t stop loving me
More about something that’s happening right now? :D

Oh! John, please don’t stop loving
Probably something happening right now, or again, a general plea for everlasting love.

    Oh! John, please don’t stop
You can interpret that as you may. Most people will suspect some hanky-panky! :p

    Oh! John, please don’t
Clearly a call to halt proceedings! :(:crying:

    Oh! John, please
Clearly a call to resume proceedings! :D:D

    Oh! John
Exasperation? Fulfillment? Tired? A call for help? Not interested, maybe? :(:(

    Oh!
    Indeed! :p

As always, your comments are welcome! And no, they are not expected to be "constructive!" :D:D

    Gobbledegook, balderdash.

Just kidding (you said no need to be constructive).
