Recently My friend gave me his broken Li Ning N90 Woods edition racket, i was wondering if it could be fixed within melbourne, australia. the racket is generally fine, except that the head has been snapped on one side, please help me. I know the racket will never be the same, and plan to string it at 20lbs if it can be fixed. Thanks so much, Talkingtaco2
the money u spend to fix is better put to buying a $10 racket from a supermarket which may play even better than the repaired n90 at 20lb
I don't think you're getting it... I want to have it fixed, this isn't how im going to play with it... it would just be nice if someone would tell me WHERE i could go to fix it
i would just like to have it fixed and strung at like 20 lbs . Talkingtaco2, I can fix the racket-head for you. But it's only for looks. You will not be able to get it strung anything higher than 10 lbs. A cracked racket-head is like a cracked egg-shell; our BCers have been trying to tell you this (if you have not understood it). .

Hi DIY recipe 1. Carefully remove paint to access graphite 1.5-2 cm to the both sides of the crack. 2. Get glass-fiber cloth - 150 or 300 gr/m2 thickness is ok. Used in car/boat repairs. 3. Get an epoxy glue/resin with high hardness (a very small amout is needed) 4. Cut a tape of glass-fiber cloth 3 to 4 cm wide and up to 10 cm in length. Scissors will be blunted after this. Protect your hands with gloves. 5. Mix an epoxy 6. Apply epoxy to the racket and to the cloth 7. Wrap cloth tape aroud the racket 2 times 8. FIx it with a piece of thread/yarn - wrap it many times around. 9. Clean all the mess around 10. Allow to dry for 24 hours. Consider heating it slightly if weather is humid. Make sure that the parts are aligned propely. 11. Remove unneded epoxy and sharp edges with a file 12. Drill a holes for a string 13. Install grommets - the longer ones will be needed. You can try to use tubing instead of grommets as well. 14. Tension it to 10-11 kg 15. Test you new very head heavy racket
