When I park my car under the sun in a particular hot day, is it necessary to bring my gear out together with me or is it okay to just put it inside the car boot? Car will be parked for 6-8 hours?

Will hot temperature(25-30c) damage the racket ?

I would advice to bring your badminton gear out from your car under the sun. It is not a hard job to bring your racket bag into your office, right?

if you are not lucky, your racket frame(with high string tension) may break from the exposure to heat.

Would you leave your baby in the car under the sun? Nope. Even not under the sun on a cool day I'll still take my rackets, who knows if some guy breaks you windows and takes your stuff.

Unless you get a sheltered car pack, otherwise don't leave your gear in the car especially shoes and rackets as the heat will surely damage them.

carbon graphite is very sensitive to heat and UV rays.
That's why they never use it on race cars, airplanes, or space shuttles.

    /sarcasm.

Extreme heat has never caused any harm to my equipment. However, extreme cold dry air makes birdies and strings brittle.

25-30C is nothing, i'm sure some days in singapore and malaysia are hotter than that inside badminton halls and clubs...

however, extreme cold eg. subzero temperatures are bad, as a 5C drop will cause a 1 lb increase in string tension due to material contraction

so if your stringer strung your racket at 27 lb at 20C, then at -10C, your tension will be 33 lbs! ... which will result in a racket frame collapse

Leaving them in your car over time is bad for your rackets. At worse care it could cause it to deform or crack.

I have seen one warp that as permanently deformed (graphite was had lost it's stifness) as a result of leaving it in the car for years as one friend actually did. He actually got critized from his cousin for doing that because he should of known better than to do that - was a result of acting lazy.

Carbon graphite were never the problem. It's the epoxy and air bubbles trapped in them.

I don't think it'll have much effect on the frame itself, but I have had instances where the heat changed the property of the strings and they snapped in the hot car. Could also have been pure coincidence but you never know~

I've seen a racquet head collapse from leaving the raquet in the car in Florida.
