LOL, MHC/TWK only plays one match probably, because they are up against MB/CM in the SF immediately. This is disappointing...
Wonder if Liew Daren can beat Dicky again and if WCH can win a match.

I think Laybourn would probably not play in this year's Copenhagen Masters as i have read something about his new and serious injury in his leg which might be career-threatening and need immediate attention.
That's such a weird situation for the XD team of Denmark, as only after a short time after Joachim's recovery from injury, another pair have to stop playing...Maybe the male players are just too old?
And also, if Laybourn does need to stop playing for some months like the situation of Joachim earlier this year, I am wondering Kamila Rytter Juhl would start concentrating on her WD again, but this time with Christinna Pedersen (they said in Denmark Open that they play WD is due to interest and just a try), as her former partner Lena Frier has suddenly announced her retirement.
On the other hand, regarding the issue of the sudden retirement of Lena Frier, I think Lena's decision to leave the field does relate to her dissolve of partnership with Kamila since the return of Laybourn and problem of communicating , with her current partner Marie Ropeke..But that's just my guessing.. It's such a great pity to lose a good European doubles player.

It is now confirmed that Jan Jorgensen would be withdrawn form the Masters due to the bad toe (infection).
Hans-Kristian Vittinghus, who is the finalist this year in Bitburger Open losing out to Chan Long, would replace him to play against the Thai Boonsak Ponsana and the veteran from Malaysia Wong Choong Hann.

hope uncle Wong can make it. Last weekend he was doing great by scoring twice for the Berlin team. A tough MD match winning the rubber 21-19 together with Rober Blair vs Kindervater/Zwiebler - later on an easy win vs. Marc Zwiebler in MS top match - but Zwiebler gave up in middle of second game complaining an injury, but it didn't look that serious, was fallen on his hand and it looked simply like missing spirit.
Anyway, good luck to the Uncle in cold Denmark, he got used to that kind of weather already, so it shouldn't be a problem for him

I am not a big fan and user of Facebook but still sometimes a good information will appear there:-)...
http://www.facebook.com/badmintondk
You can still get a ticket for Copenhagen Masters - www.badmintondenmark.com - or watch it on TV2 SPORT - 27.-29.12.2010
Even I have a Danish speaking lady at hand those days I am not sure that I can get anything from internet... I tried last time but they had used to show in internet only soccer (on demand for extra payment:-)... but of course if I can see or catch something myself the recording programs are ready for use
http://www.badmintoneurope.tv/?id=1
it's saying NO and bwin and bet365 don't have it on their schedule so not very many hopes... anyway hoping that some our Danish friends will share some good matches...
so most probably I will have a good rest in those days and one or more good training with my old XD partner...Last edited by Vaido; 12-25-2010 at 09:25 PM.
