Arcsaber Z Slash It is slightly head heavy and goes through the air quickly making your smashes faster the racket itself is longer then other rackets. but the down side is you need good timing to get a good smash or else you will miss the shuttle and the frame is smaller and you have to get used to the fact that it is smaller
I think Z-Slash is more of an advance racket, only powerful when your timing must be spot-on all the time during real game. It not a friendly/forgiving type of racket, unless all you do is just smash, smash... Otherwise Arc8dx is better as it has good smash power and great control/defense as well. No timing issues, a great racket for all around type of player.
On the other hand, I believe the Arc 8-DX is better, the frame of the Z-Slash is more fragile and the last one I had cracked after a powerful jump smash of mine. The Arc 8-DX is also more affordable and is also a bit head heavy, excellent control and power without the fragile frame of the Z-Slash.
For those that are used to an oval head racket, the adjustment is minimal with the ZSlash. I compared Arc10 vs Z and prefer the Z as its more powerful in smashing, also defence is very good due to its ability to cut thru air faster.
Fragile doesn't mean it is worse... We are not going to do any cross sword in badminton. It fact it's advanced-level racket compare to the 8DX. Hehe it's just my opinion...
oh... I read an article which states that many world class badminton players use the Arc 7 which is about the same "class" as the Arc 8 DX...
Well let me see erm Lilyana Natsire uses it and etc I double I count it as a advanced intermediate racket
both are top end rackets... there are professional players that use all sorts of range of rackets.. just personal preference
So olympic champions Lee Yong Dae and Hendra Setiawan are advanced intermediate players? And Koo Kien Keat and Nova Widianto are intermediate players then . Sweeet, we are in good company then . Z-Slash is a little girl's racket for those who can use a little help generating power since I usually see skinny girls play with it
If we borrow this chart: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...9-Yonex-selection-chart&p=1369728#post1369728 You will see a "recommended for". The level to the left is advanced, second is intermediate and right is beginner. I think the "◎" is highly recommended and "O" is suitable but I've never seen an explanation for these in a legend. You will see the only ones recommended to just the advanced men are NS9900 and ARC8DX. But as always these are just charts ...
Im not using the players are but the racket is. HOW DARE YOU SAY THE ARCSABER Z SLASH IS A GIRLS RACKET !!
