Tommy Sugiarto is playing here, and seeded #3 too! Hope he can beat Wacha (#1 seed) in the SF... if he does, then Eric Pang will see him in the finals.... ;) 3rd International Challenge title for Tommy? I hope so...

Megawati Gustiani is playing? Who funded her?!?

Okvana Viki Indra-Megawati Gustiani is the #1 seed for XD?!? Really?!? Does anyone know who is supporting them?

Even Tommy Sugiarto is smarter than whoever is in charge of PBSI's tourney planning.

He has a realistic chance of reaching SF and that could see his ranking jump up even further.

MMmmm..... the airfare cost to fly round-trip from Jakarta to Bahrain and the living expenses will probably cancel out most of the prize money obtained... badMania is right, this tournament is more for ranking points rather than money...

Why don't you try to calculate the economics a bit. You will see what I mean... :)

I mean '$$$$$' is not the prize money, but the cost to send them.

With the withdrawal of the top-seed Wacha, I think Tommy Sugiarto is in a good shape to reach yet another IC tourney Final.

    Opponents he will face:
    R16 vs Surgey Ivlev
QF vs Ali Shahhosseini [5] or Heri Setiawan
SF vs Tan Yuhan or Dinuka Karunaratne

If he does reach the Final, he will most likely face Eric Pang [2].

Wow...Tommy Sugiarto certainly is enjoying his comeback, after beating the higher-ranked Eric Pang (WR 44) in the Final. 3rd consecutive titles in a row!

Will he go to the India International Challenge? He will rise up to the top 60 with only 8 tourneys.
