If someone provided a translation, that would be useful.

He is already 24 years old, and his best BWF ranking so far has been 42; at present it is 48.

He has won titles at ICs and made last and semis days at some other GPs. This is not exactly heartening for the future of MAS singles. He needs to find another level of play, and soon enough. There are many players from other places who are 2-4 years younger than him and way higher up the rankings.

He has got to find the fire. Or, someone needs to light a fire under him...

Lee picked up only one title in 2002 and 2003, reaching the final of the 2003 Malaysia Open (his first final of a major tournament) where he was defeated by Chen Hong of China.

datuklee start making final, at age 20-21 but finally become top4 player at 25...

Sorry, my bad about the age. However, I don't think it would be fair to compare Ramadan to LCW- the two are very different, not just in style but also in general level of play, and LCW even in his early years was a top-10 player. Ramadan just does not appear to have the drive or the arsenal to do this, at least not right now.

Just a quick glance at the BWF MS rankings will show us that there are many players in the age ground 20-23 who are ranked way higher than Ramadan, and have been there consistently. Obviously there has been something lacking in Ramadan's case.

It is all very fine to compete at IC and GP levels and obtain decent results like Fri/Sat/Sun appearances. But unless you begin to play more GPGs, SS etc and pit yourself regularly against better or equal players, how will you improve or get the experience or confidence to improve?

yes, i see ramdan as the young hafiz hashim, similar style... lot of tricks shots and double motions.

ramdan not as quick as datuklee, malaysia player generally peak at 25... if after 25, also no go, can call it a day...

as they said due to "lack of training" malaysia players mature later than china & indonesia

TSB said in interview with sin chew.
chong wei feng and liew daren face problem in progressing not because they only few years in elite squad.
but the problem happen before they enter elite squad.
but he doesnt want to tell more to avoid trouble.
whole world know they were in WHO's hand during back up squad days.

even ZKJ refuse to comment why the talent(ajc and wjc) in bjss cant shine in bam.

yap kim hock had the similar opinion.

the villian is now the hero
