In the Open Division, Mohd Ulinnuha/Ricky Karanda Suwardi will face Fernando Kurniawan/Wifqi Windarto in the Final. Praven Jordan/Didit Juang Indrianto have done a good job in stretching the new Pelatnas pair to 3-sets.

Nice... Djarum pair Fernando/Wifqi keep showing a positive trend recently, They win the Vietnam IC title, and beat Ye Shen/Wei Hong in MAS GPG,now they beat Hendra Wijaya/Hendri Kurniwan to secure a spot in final to face Pelatnas pair Ulin/Ricky Karanda.

Yes, Edo/Wifqi are showing better results than they were in Pelatnas last year. These are common trends lately and Hau-Ge attributed this to the extra pressure on your shoulder when you are in Pelatnas.

If PB Djarum keeps sending Edo/Wifqi to IC/GP/GPG/SS events (hopefully) in the Asian region, they have a good chance to be ranked in the top 30 by end of the year. They are now at no 67, with 6 tourneys.

Likely tourneys they will participate in:
Thailand GPG (not sure, since they are participating in 4 consecutive tourneys in May)
    Indonesia SSP (qualification)
Russian GP - according to Hau-Ge
    Russian White Nights - ditto
    Indonesia IC
    Vietnam GP
    Chinese-Taipei GPG
    Indonesia GPG
Hong Kong SS - since the Pelatnas team is not going to participate due to the SEA Games committment
    Macau GPG
    India IC
    India GPG

Djarum pair Yahya Adi Kumara/Yantoni Edi Saputra grab the BD-U15 title after having a straightforward win against Akbar/Lutfi 21-14 21-10.

Meanwhile in BD U-17, the other Djarum pair Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra/Hantoro lost to Tangkas pair Fikri Ikhsandi Hadmadi/Rico Hamdani 12-21 10-21. I noticed that this Tangkas pair has beaten 2 Djarum pairs including the top seed Jeka Wiratama/Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho.

Fernando Kurniawan/Wifqi Windarto are the in-form MD pair right now as they won another title, this time the Candra Wijaya Men's Doubles Championships. Two local tourneys await them....Sirnas Jakarta and Sirnas Bandung.

Djarum U-19 team got a good lesson in 'non-technical' match experience this Saturday...... They had to deal with very VERY biased line judges, service judge, and main umpire at the Pembangunan Jaya Cup....... All possible unfairness became a reality on the court........ Well kids, better learn life lessons now rather than at the Thomas/Uber/Sudirman Cup.......

Ririn Amelia/Melati Daeva Oktaviani progress to main draw of INA SSP, not bad, at least 2660 points in their bag.
