Looking at him coaching at one time, lcw and wch,

I can see what he can do to any player under him.

He modifies their weapon and unlease their desire/hunger to win
The results so far show otherwise...

His coaching method was mainly focusing on footwork and technique rather than physical strength.. That's what LCW felt from his book..

    I would agree.

The only time LCW thought that Li Mao was trying to get him physically stronger was when he was told by Li Mao to run on sand at Port Dickson (if I remember correctly) back in 2006.

I was told by someone that TXH also told PBSI Squad when he coached last time, to do footwork drill on a badminton field filled up with sand.

OMG... Port Dickson is really hot...

Perhaps some of these players, who have trained on sand, could try to play Beach Volleyball after retiring from Badminton.

This is the first time I found you veering from the topic. Very unlike of you, Chris.
Is it because of CNY festival? Haha.

We all can understand each other with simple English.

You just reminded me of something... A trainee once asked me, which is correct: shuttlecock or shuttlecork?

Yeah. I can almost see Li Mao frowning on all this.
As it is, he has enough reason to frown lately....
    ...or is it PBSI?
    ....or Indonesia?

Suspect this would happen from the start, it wasn't like Li Mao can be seen all the time with INA players.

LM said he and Tat Meng were pinpointed n continuously being criticized internally (of course by those don't like foreign coaches) disregard what his players (Sony, Simon) achieved lately... And now his 90+ yr old father is seriously sick, so he resigned fr INA coach post and back to China to take care of his father... He is very disappointed with what he n Tat Meng been treated in INA.
