But LM also say that the past one year was one of his happiest (with the players particularly, and PBSI in general, bar those not happy with foreign coaches).

So for only over a year and with the recent result,
I think it's a miracle considering LM was doing quite a bit of overhauling the players.
This usually takes longer time
and I was thinking something like a 2 year job

They say teaching old dog new trick is impossible but Li Mao did it otherwise.
Remember it was mentioned here somewhere he had to go deep down
and change quite a bit of their hitting techniques, look into their injury, nutritions etc ..
Well, whatever he had done I am sure those around could pick up from there

With so many bureaucratic things and the narrow minded hatred of foreign coaches inside the authority, INA badminton is done.

The official reason given is that Li Mao's father very ill, so Li Mao must go back to be with the father during what could be his last days. As for Wong Tat Meng, it is said WTM will leave after OG, Li Mao go, someone need to guide the players.
Actually according earlier report, WTM was supposed to have resigned and left end of April or May, now another article says till OG.Last edited by eaglehelang; 07-07-2012 at 07:18 AM.

Those two things may have influent to the INA badminton but to say it's done just because of it ??
As long there's so many people and institution like DJARUM, Tangkas and others badmintons club, with so many tournaments circuit, and still great passion by kids, teens and the die hard fans of badminton in all the country, I will say that INA badminton will stand still in the badmintons wolrd.
Agree with you

INA badminton is not done...sorry for those to wish..but China Badminton is losing it's power as predicted by one of Chinese official 3 years ago due to the competition of the sports in china( golf, tennis, basketball, etc) and also good economy in china may prevent the parents letting their children into sports...also China is stopping the age cheating which we should appreciate their move....There are always 2 sides of the stories ....Li Mao likes INA players and Li Mao and Wong Tat Meng were contracted by 3 rd party and passed it to PBSI so technically PBSI did not own them....so it is understandable that we never see Li Mao coaching INA players on court side as LI Mao wears KAWASAKI which I had been told that he had some shares but Tat Meng wore Yonex strangely."Also Li Mao refused to attend the meeting as well as gave the shirt or long term goal and he demanded that his Ingle department can't be bothered..so our Headcoach could not do anything..now you see that there were 2 departments single and double which did not communicate well....to make it worse..Li Mao decided to prolong his holiday and skipped INA Premier Open which upsets ex players..For those criticizes that INA hates foreign coaches are TOTALLY WRONG....iNdonesia has many foreign coaches nowadays.....

Only few Indonesians who hate foreign coach and mostly they are not badminton fans.
The badminton fans just hate some PBSI officials who are not supposed to be in PBSI(they don't hate all officials, just some)
