Looking for playing partner/s

Hi

I am just thinkjng to get back into this sport recently after 5-6 years lol
Level i would say intermediate, w/ either plastic or feather

Anyone could suggest a good place to drop in w/ lots of people?
B/c from Past experience it is hard to get a drop in place if you are going alone(w/ partner)
I live near yonge and finch

Hey, I play every Sunday at Argincourt in the morning with my brother, if you bring a friend with you, we can play together. we mostly reserved the court for 2 hours, we never used drop in. if you interested give me shout.

unfortunately my availability on the weekends is kind of limited

I prefer to have something over the weekdays after 6 PM; sorry did not mention this earlier.

Hey, I wouldn't mind playing. Whereabouts do you live? How old are you? It might be easier to schedule badminton rallying times based on that info.

I am living in north york area and available after 7pm weekdays; male 25 years old (if it is matter)
are you usually play somewhere around scarborough markham area (which one)?

Oh the age thing was just because there's badminton for different age groups around Markham/Scarborough, so I wanted to pinpoint an area.

I've played at Agincourt (the new one), Flying Dragon badminton club, and other drop-in places in Markham. Haven't tried out any scarborough clubs yet, although I heard there's one at 16th & markham rd. There's also late-night midnight madness badminton at Flying Dragon, Friday nights from 11pm - 2am, although I don't know if that's too late for you.

Anyway, I'm always on the hunt for new clubs, new people to play singles with especially, so anyone else that sees this, give me a PM. or e-mail me: candycanesmiles@live.ca

@Ulzaang: did you want to play then? Name a time that's convenient for you. Maybe North York has a badminton club?

Hey, I want to check out the late midnight madness at flying dragon.. Did you go there often? how's the level there? are they friendly and how the courts shared? is it per 1 game then change player or?

I just went to ryerson badminton club yesterday and kind of dissapointed with my performance lol..

I'm not sure if Flying Dragon has Saturday night badminton, I'll get my friend to check it out for me (he's a member). Ryerson badminton club? ooh how/where! I like the university clubs because they make you feel like you have to work harder and train more...lol.

at ryerson every friday. The last day for fall session end next sunday; However, the winter 2011 session starts on the first friday of Jan 2011.

I think they (flying dragon) do have weekend madness; nway...I will be busy until next year.. but I will let you know in Jan..

I am interest to join your games weekends are also fne with me. Fly Dragon have weekend drops ins from 11pm-2am

Hey Amoz, are you talking about midnight madness? are you going on Saturday or Friday one?
How's the environment and level there?
Is it better to come in a group? couse sometime you'll be left out if you do not have partner while they only play doubles kind of thing

I think it would be better to come in a group, cos they usually play doubles or at least 4 ppls on court. I had only been there once for midnight madness. level are from really beginners to internediate some of them will play with plastic, but myself prefer feather

I think the cost is $8 for members / $10 for not.

It's from 11pm-2am Friday and Saturday nights. And even if you go single, there's a chance you can find a playing partner, or else just bring one buddy, and there are plenty of courts to spare.
