Sorry to inform but that is far from a first edition ... 3rd or 4th edition maybe. Cab8 (B-8500) was first introduced in 1980 in green (then yellow and orange added(?), 2nd edition(?) blue and red added with old lettertype; yours is blue with new lettertype)
Hey guys, Thanks for the info.. Maybe i'm still not a true geniune yonex collectors.. maybe i've got the wrong info.. Carbonex 8 series of course was introduced in late 70's (if i'm not mistaken) but mine i think is Carbonex 8 "SP" which is newer than Carbonex 8 (only).. There are lots of Carbonex 8 SP around but the newer one will be with "New Yonex Logo".. Pls correct me if im wrong guys.. I've another Vintage Yonex Racket which im not really sure how old is it but it is the old "Wooden" Type racket.. That one is not for sale.. : ) BTW..
