I would prefer ZN/ZYL as Shooting Stars of the Year as they have only paired up last year. Shooting stars/Partnership of the Year seems pretty similar to me. O.O

Don't agree with ZB/MJ as Sad nor Mismatch as they only played in one(?) tournament this year which is the WC and they won. LSM/CYC definitely not shooting stars, TJM/TQ would fit it more than LSM/CYC.

Yeah, I see your point about the XD; Shooting Stars can be considered to be a relatively newcomer who makes a strong statement/impression (a la RI in WS) whereas Partnership of the Year is about an established duo who has consistently performed as winners throughout the year. Hope this explains...
