Surprisingly they both have average score of 9. Wish it is just as easy as doing the math to buy a new racket.

no problem. i don't like the idea of "score" review, it seems a bit meaningless, too relative, general, and unexplanatory.

When my teammate is equal or better skill than me, I like to attack all the time by driving and smashing at the back, netting while I'm in front. This BS10 is very good.
However when my teammate is less than me and both opponents are better than my team mate, then I change my strategy, sort of playing single. I play slower. Now I feel that BS10 not generating enogh power.

you are right, thats why I said "Wish it is just as easy as doing the math to buy a new racket". The table is just to make easier to make the comparison

I have to agree with the last several posts regarding X80. I play mostly doubles also, and uses a SW35 (for most games) and occasionally BS10 (against smash monsters). I would say X80 is almost a compromise between the two: it has more power than BS10 but not as much as SW35, and it is more agile than SW35 but not as quick as the BS10. It does excel in head stability though. I will be tempted to switch to X80 totally instead of using two racquet models, but only time will tell if that is feasible.

If I where to ignore the average, which is equal, I would go immediately with VT80 because, I guess I like the added smash power, but then there's that blinding difference of 1 big point!

I have been using a spira21 prior to MX80. MX80 just swings faster than spira21...im still trying to adjust to the different swing speed. But when i get it right, MX80 does have a wee bit more power. And its easy to drive and do continuous attacks on the Meteor. Stable and fast enough at the net too. Those are my impressions so far...

big sorry guys, my kid was messing up with my calculator. I got the average wrong. Once again, don't rely on these to make your decision.

After 2 weeks of play, more than 20 hour, I'm growing into the X80 more and more. The feel, the control, the power, is really a class on it own. But of course, its base on a new technology, so yes, it is a class of its own! LOL

The ability to continuously attack from the baseline with precision is what I simply love about this racket. The front part at the net, with its fast swing speed and solid control allows a quick tap or quick drive.

To compare it to my BS12, it pales in comparison of head speed, even though the BS12 is more head-heavy than the X80. But this is because the BS series is designed to cut through air fast!

No regrets, I'm getting another X80

Looking at these numbers, it would seem that net shots made the biggest difference? If so, then likely due to better feel of mx80, correct?

    QUESTION!

Does MX80 generate any "Woosh" sound like bs10?

I hope you guys dont make the mistake of just following the trend or just because some people like the x80.

What may be suitable for one person may not be right for another.

As i said before, this is not a racquet for everyone. It is the stiffest racquet i have played with and will need getting used to and to play around with string type n tension to best suit u.

    Just a word of caution.

Thx for the advice from ksquared!

I would like to get a stiffer racquet as already used to play flexible and medium stiff racquet.

My smash still consider weak so would like to try stiffer and head heavy racquet to see any improvement.

Certainly I believe Yonex Voltrix 80 smash could be more powerful but pricing higher and I might not be able to control it yet as the review from others net, clear and drive seems harder than Victor Meteor X80.
