One complaint though Kwun, I don't see a shot of the entire racket? Or one front facing! Come on dude! feed the urge! Lol.

the octo frame is most pronounced at the 4-8 o'clock area. if you look closely at the pics, you should see hints of it. the woven fiber is beautifully done. and i think it is genuine instead of painted on as there are places with imperfection which is unavoidable.

the quality of the finish is top notch. very high quality and rivals if not better than Yonex paint jobs. excellent stuff from Victor.

asthetically, i think perhaps a bit too much gold. aside from that, the color scheme and design is very nice.

the feeling of the racket is nice on the hand. but will have to string it up to see. i am thinking maybe VS-850@26lbs this time.

i really want to compare it with the VT80 though but the demo that i can get is strung with BG66UM@26lbs. cannot decide.

the camera is a 1Dmk3 with 35L. the lighting is just ambient light this time as i just came back from badminton and it is getting late so i just took a few snaps. will work on better pics tomorrow.

    BG66UM @ 26lbs would feel like a plank with the MX80. I'd go with the Victor VS850 @ 26lbs.

Mostly because that's what I use

    Ohh, nice cam. I use a 5D MkII with a 50mm 1.4 prime and a 24-70L 2.8 here.

With respect to the frame design, nice to see the octo more pronounced at the lower segments. Shows more careful racket crafting. Bear in mind though Kwun, supposedly because of the 80 grommet design, strings feel roughly 2lbs tighter than the actual tension you string them at. I can't confirm this but that's what's been said on these forums. So 26lbs should feel more like 27lbs to 28lbs.

VT80 comparison would be awesome. Guessing you don't have any BG66UM string about to string the Victor with? If not I say just string it with the VS-850 (likely a popular choice for the racket) and compare it anyway, or with the same string later!

Well, I had a 96 hole Forza which I strung at 26lbs and it was useless, then down to 24lbs with was a bit more playable, but I'd wish I'd gone lower.

The Braveswords have 72 holes, so the MX80 at, well, 80.........I'd actually go with 2lbs lower with a 0.68 string.

    Victor Taiwan vs Winex Taiwan

80 holes grommet vs 96 holes grommet
    NP155 looks denser than MX80 isn't it
NP155 strung with BG66 Ultima (0.65 mm) @t 25 lbs it feels stiffer than
    MX80 strung with VS850 (0.68 mm) @t 28 lbs
    NP155 feels like 29 ~ 30 lbs and almost unplayable !!!

    Nah.. 66UM @ 27lbs is pretty nice.

Why does Kwun always get the nicest racket to take photo of? I swear my Mx80 looked good until I saw Kwun's photos...

I made a thread comparing build of rackets and it included the BS10. But what the above image shows is that one of the things I touched on is intrinsic to other Victor rackets as well.

Look how the grommet placers are so low profile compared to other rackets. Especially the internal one's. You can barely see them, and see more of the strings than placers. Where as on other rackets there's a lot of excess plastic visible that I'd imagine could have very slight (in near un-noticeable) differences in aero dynamics. I just like little touches like that with Victor rackets.

Whoa! If you strung that up with Kevlar strings, you'd have a bulletproof racket for those occasional gunfights! :eep
