No matter how the MX70 pans out, my guess is the MX80 will still always have a dominant role. It's still my "hero" racket lol.

Naim, u r just right...last night i play with my both BS12 & MX80 (yes, items received yesterday..thanks to eric
)
what can i say, i love MX80 more than VT80/BS10/BS12.....for the very first time play with MX80, it just awesome.
the shaft/frame is not stiffier/heavier than VT80....and VS850 @26lbs feel great too.
smash/netplay/dropshot/backhand is much more easier....and i am not sure whether my VT80 will sit longer time in the bag afterwards

My MX80 came two days ago but I didn't know until yesterday. 4UG2 strung with zymax 62 at 23 lbs. Played a 4 hour session with it yesterday and all I have to say is wow. Racquets I own include NS9000x, ARC8DX, ARCZS, AT900T, PP T2, and NS 4500. I've got to say that the MX80 is a far better racquet than any of them. The clears were effortless, smashes were powerful, and my favourite, the backhands were effortless. Feels like a stiffer version of my T2. Gotta give it two thumbs up!

Those of you with 4U, just curious, what's your bp measurement?
Is it somewhere around 300mm?
TIA.

My AT900T is 3UG4 compared to the MX80 which is 4UG2. The bp is also different with AT900T at 300mm and MX80 at 290mm but if you just hold it they feel about the same.
Anyways...
Power At900T:9/10 MX80:9/10
Speed At900T:8/10 MX80:10/10
Control At900T:9/10 MX80:8.5/10
The two racquets are both pretty powerful but I think it takes a bit more effort to get power out of the MX80. The speed on the MX80 was amazing in my opinion though the AT900T wasn't slow at all. I felt I had more control with the AT900T probably because it has a bigger sweet spot.Last edited by yumyumtaco; 05-01-2011 at 01:02 PM.
