I think both rackets are well-suited to any discipline, but if the Arc10 feels better, buy it. Playing with a racket that performs worse just because you like it better for some reason is not how one should approach things^^ Even though I don't particularly like Yonex (because of their unreasonable pricing and the fact that older rackets do NOT get cheaper around here) I would still use their rackets if they improved my performance. However, as that is not the case, I don't have to worry

Back to topic - the MX80 can be a bit stiff, especially noticeable in singles (where clears can become a bit short or just not as easy as they need to be) or doubles when the stiffness reduces your power and smashes don't have the usual penetration. If that does not change after prolonged use (more than 2 weeks of continuous use), you should go back to a softer racket. Playing with a softer racket isn't a sign of weakness - it's preference. I'm surprised again and again to see world class players use the Arc7 or LN N70 because they feel so weird to me, but I couldn't score a single point against those guys

thanks for advice / help
Do you think decrease tension could "reduce" the stiffness of mx80.
My test arcsaber10 was strung with 10kg... my mx80 with 12kg (which wasnt a prob on my ns 9900 )

MX 80 seems to feel much more stiffer at same tension, compared to Arc10. Would've a try with 9,5kg, if you feel comfortable with 10kg on Arc10. Ah, it's gotta be the same string to compare... I guess you've got BG65 an the Arc and the given Victor string on your MX? If that's correct, I wouldn't wonder MX80 felt weird and way to hard though

nanogy 95 on arc 10 @ 10kg
bg 66 on mx80 @12kg
bg 66 on nanospeed 9.9k @12k g (plays good )

If the MX80 is too stiff, get the MX70. Problem solved!
Remember, both have 80 strings, so string an MX80 2lbs lower than what you'd string an Arc10 at, and the MX70 maybe 1lb less.
Just curiously, has anyone else noticed that there are MX80s with different white paint?
I've just noticed that my TWB coded racket is Pearl White, but my TWC coded version is plain Gloss White.
