yeah, i think it's worth it, antski. the amenities certainly sound near-perfect vs what the other courts offer. and i hear it's going to be very high-tech! with a swipe card and a thumbprint id needed to enter. I'm already excited to see it and play there. See you when it opens, ants!

Hi Coandrew, I dont play in ShuttleZone anymore. I play mostly at Valle Verde (mondays and thurs evenings) and at PowerSmash (sometimes sat pm). Then I get invited to play Sat. evenings at the San Juan courts.
Ya, lots of badminton courts sprouting all over metro manila. And also watch Solar Sports and RPN9 on sat or sun, they are televising the Phil. Badminton Invitationals that are being played every saturday at the valle verde country club. Top players of the country are playing in this tournament.

Are you guys willing to pay 300 pesos per one hour of play?
I'm evaluating the membership & rates of the Yonex Badminton Club.

It won't be expensive if you split it with your friends. Not that you are paying 300 yourself. If the quality of court and the services there is good , 300 is a good price. Of cause you don't compare to the price per hr of other courts. Anyway we will have to wait and see weather 300 is expensive or not when the court is ready.

Hi Ants,
Are you pulling my leg? I am not that good yet
Used to play a lot but must slow down the past month because of right heel pain. Went to 2 docs and they told me I may have heel spurs (plantar facisitis) so now I am taking it easy, icing it 2x a everyday and wearing arch support.. bummer!
Are you based here in manila? send me a pm and maybe we can play.
