The first of the Yonex Made in Taiwan Voltric series, VT5 and 7. They are head heavy racquets made up of high modulus graphite. Available in 3U and 4U. General paint work and furnish is not as good as the VT70.

Hang on a second ! These VT5 & VT7 models don't have "Made in Taiwan" on the bottom of the butt cap. Is this a new thing from Yonex ?

It's the first time that I don't see the word Japan on the base cap of the handle.

The VT7 looks like a LiNing racket, but I like the color scheme of it.

    Hello everyone,

I also saw the Voltric 009DX on BadmintonAvenue.
I wonder if these three rackets (VT 5, 7 and 009DX) all come out for the All England. I also heard about the Voltic 90 (to be use by Peter Gade), will release it in March or September 2011?
If you also have info on other Voltric, I'm interested.

    Thank you in advance
    Koo & Tan

Don't you mean Arcsaber 9DX

The VT5 and VT7 are already out and available in Singapore soon, as what the thread says. What's the need to wait for All England next year LOL

    No, see this link.

According Badminton Avenue, Voltric 5 and 7 will be on sale in 2011.
And we know that in general, Yonex put on sale new top-range racket at the All England and the Japan Open. I told myself that VT 70 is output, Yonex put on sale a top-range racket but I was wrong, sorry.

Now what do you know about the VT 009DX and the VT 90?

I believe you have not done much searching before posting what you found on Badminton Avenue, which in this case has slightly mistaken information.

You are demanding too much, information on the new Voltric racquet is still classified; even I have no idea on what it will be.

One thing is, if the VT5 and VT7 are not out yet why would the opening thread contain real life pictures of them? Badminton Avenue is based in US. You have to understand that there is a big difference in availability of racquets in Asia Pacific (in this case Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia) and the US.

The VT05 and 07 are already for sale here in Singapore otherwise the physical product will not be on display in Sports Life.

The VT07 is slightly higher end than the VT05 and the price reflects accordingly. High modulus graphite as compared to full carbon graphite.

Had a swing at these two racquets and they felt heavier than the VT70 and the feel seem closer to the Armortec series. Their price are also higher than the normal Yonex 'Made in Taiwan' racquets which could reflect they being positioned close to the higher mid-range Made in Japan raquets like the Cab30MS, MP44, MP45, AT Tour, AT600, NS Tour, NS6000, NS7000, NS7700, Ti10.

    hey guys,
yesterday got a chance to hv a swing on both VT5 & VT7 at KB sport.. But im quite surprised tat the VT5 (3U) feels as heavy as my 2U's Carbonex 15 Ti SP.. as for the VT7, its too light for me.. hope to try it soon as one of my friend plan to buy one of those.. : )
