String tension problem
I've had a racket strung at 27 lbs, but the stringer didn't make any adjustments when he was doing the cross strings. He set the machine at 27 lbs for the main strings and kept the same tension when doing the cross strings.
Will this cause damage to the racket head? I've heard that the main strings should be at a lower tension because the top of the racket is weaker and shouldn't be put under the same pressure as the sides.
The racket head looks fine and seems to play ok, but I don't know how important the 2 lbs difference between the main and cross strings is.
Any help or advice much appreciated.

Do you know this person cooler?
Anyways... I don't think it would really matter if it's at the same tension... as long as the main, is not tighter than the cross... picture having an upside down frame???
some manufacturers have experimented with the design... I imagine their not very successful.
Oh yeah, cooler. To answer your question... I haven't been playing with Badminton Alberta for about 5 years now, as I was in school in another province.
When I was playing in my highschool days, I got up to 46th on the BA mens ranking... but no further.
Just didn't have time to go out to play every single tournament on the schedule.
Maybe we should start our own ladder of some sort?
anywho talk to you soon... going to play at a social club tonight.
After 2 days of training again, it feels really good, to try to play consistently again.
:P :? :X

Re: Warranty void?
hehehe... yeah, that's true.
What's the tightest you string your Cab22 at?
or any of your racquets for that matter...
From what I know of you, you like to string to suit your own, play rather than string it too tight.
Am I correct in my assumption?
