Foot Pain

Above is a diagram of a left foot. The encircled part is where my left foot hurts when I started playing Badminton. It hurts constantly when I play really hard and it hurts randomly even outside the court (walking). I'm right handed and my left foot is my pivot foot.
I'm wearing proper Badminton shoes and proper insoles (Polysorb Total Support) for both my feet. I tried doing PT sessions already; they helped in relieving the pain but eventually it still hurts. The pain is tolerable though but it is not normal for my everyday living. What could be wrong?
TIA.

Weight is 128 lbs. and height is 5' 7"..
Playing surface is Taraflex suspended on wood but mostly Taraflex on cement.
Not flat feet, I have normal arch feet, not flat not over-arched.

at the top? or bottom of the feet?
if at the top, then i suggest leaving out the shoes laces right above the point of pain. that method worked for me.

At the top.
What do you exactly mean by "leaving out the shoes laces right above the point of pain" ?

Oh ok.
When you had that pain, was it also painful when NOT playing?
Also, why does this affect only my left foot and not my right?

You must be doing something on your left foot that you're not doing on your right. And it's probably painful when not playing because it's an injury. You may have to stop playing for a while for it to heal completely.
This problem only started recently, correct? My guess is, you were not taught to move properly on court, and now that you're moving a bit faster, the problem shows up.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. I have correct footwork because I trained for Badminton in the past. So this is not because of having wrong movements. It is no THAT painful, though it's not really normal.
No, I experienced the problem for quite some time right now. I don't know if it's in the shoes (I use Mizuno Wave Fang) but the second time I used them in the past my left foot got injured, no twisting or anything, it's just that when I landed my left foot (same area in the picture) suddenly felt like I had a Sprain and I was not able to walk properly for a week.

I had this exact same problem a few years back and it happened with a misstep on the court. It felt like a torn ligament or tendon; I was hopping around for a while. I did the RICE routine. The pain wouldn't go away. I did the next best thing. I stopped playing altogether for about 6-8 weeks, and made sure I did not exert any stress or strain on the foot, either by running, skipping, extensive walking etc. The tear healed and I was fine thereafter.

But I have been taking better care of myself physically. I make sure I warm up religiously and stretch properly before I try anything else. I think that makes a major difference.
