For those football fans out there, please feel free to tell who will win this year Football Asian Cup 2011.

Myself, I would say Australia, Japan or South Korea :D

    Malaysia BOLEH...!!!
Sometimes I feel that Australia should NOT be part of Asia coz Australia falls under the Oceanic region. Anyway, Aussie is a bit too strong for Asians... may be Japan, S.Korea and middle east countries can contain Aussie team.

Also to my surprise the results do not show that's the case. In the last AC, Aus lost in the QF and there are other times when they drew with countries like INA. I guess it's the climate they have to adjust especially for those playing in Europe.

IMO Australia joining AFC is a win win situation. And the only loser is OFC.

    Japanese stars

    Japanese stars to shine:

Shinji Kagawa: A new Nakamura has born, the 21 yrs old Borussia Dortmund midfielder has scored 8 goals in 17 matches for the German club. Cant wait to see him combining with Keisuke Honda. I like him even more since he plays for Dortmund. Its a shame he did not go to South Africa WC.

Keisuke Honda: IMO he's currently Asia's best player (although PJS fans wouldn't agree :) ) he reminds me of the young Hidetoshi Nakata. Im sure he will do really well.

Yasuhito Endo: My Japanese fav player, a general in the midfield battle and Pirlo of the far east.

Totally agree. It will make AFC nations pick their game up while exposing Australia to better competition

in that case the final will be between N. Korea and Iran, who has more Nuclear weapons will determine who wins.

Is this it for South Korea??

No doubt South Korea is Asia football power house but i personally can not recall they won it before.

Yet again PJS will lead the Taeguk warriors, and despite the aging legs im sure the ever determined Koreans will go through from group C along with Australia.

Good chance for China to shine

the defeat of Qatar in the opening opens a bigger opportunity for CHN.

    Group prediction:

    Group A: China and Uzbeks
Group B: This is an easy one, Japan and Saudis
Group C: Another easy one, South Korea and Australia
Group D: This is the hardest one, my wild guess Iran and UAE
