chris, i think starting this thread and discuss rationally is better than in the other thread

    i hate that title:eek:

personally i think if the meeting between the president and misbun with the minister in the middle did not turn out too good

misbun may, like you say work for the malaysian government:D

i know his heart is still with badminton in malaysia:)

The thread starter has no respect for Misbun?

    .
Why do you hate that title: BAM - Please fire Misbun and Rashid Sidek?

Is it because the thread starter has no respect for Misbun?

Or, is it that Misbun shouldn't be sacked?:confused::confused:

What was said or requested for BAM to fire Misbun is done

    .
What was said or requested for BAM to fire Misbun is done. We cannot reverse time to correct that thread starter's suggestion.

Or, has the thread starter apologised to Misbun that I haven't noticed?

I am certain that Misbun will leave BAM

    .
It is best for Misbun to leave BAM and to start on his own.

LCW (as advised by Taufik) will back Misbun.

Unless there are unknown factors, then I would not know; such as getting enough sponsors to back Misbun.

I am certain that Misbun will leave BAM (Actually he has already left). :):):)

It wasn't necessary to close the other thread

    .
It wasn't necessary to close the other thread.

I am sure that there are other BCers still wishing that BAM should fire Misbun.

These BCers should be able to contribute more suggestions to that thread (and let their voices be heard) - to fire Misbun Sidek from BAM.

Should BAM kiss MS butt for him to come back, of course not, no one is indispensible. So, is MS a great coach, yes for bringingout the best in LCW. No, for not grooming other players to be great players. But if fire MS, then who else in BAM to coach LCW with OLY so close and LCW has maybe 2 good years left? LCW-MS is like a ying-yang thingie, compliment each other. BAM huge public funding is to achieve international success, OLY for eg. LCW is MAS best hope to medal (maybe even a gold is possible) in OLY, after that, MAS can kiss goodbye any medal hope in AG, OLY, TC, etc for a long time;)

so otb, in another words somebody is going to swallow the big pill

during the coming 3 parties talk.:D

definitely not misbun because he quits:D

    definitely not malaysia government,

they were hoping players to turn pro, less money involved:)

so that leaves behind bam :D

very interesting to follow up in the coming news:)

is it going to be in several episodes?

    Money Talks

    .
OTB has always been posting that "Money Talks" (from our BC memory bank).

Soon we shall find out if Misbun can find enough sponsors to support his mission to improve Malaysian Badminton outside BAM.

Great thread:D. ONLY NUSA MAHSURI appreciate what Datuk Misbun contributes to the development of Malaysia Badminton since from the past, present and future and if you go to KLRC Badminton Hall and ask any youngster who join NUSA MAHSURI coaching session there why they en-role with them, among the answers will be because NUSA has Datuk Misbun. This shows how influences Datuk Misbun as a motivational and inspiration to any young player who wants to play badminton and even children appreciate that.

Regardless whatever outcome that will come out from the triparties meeting, Datuk Misbun will not be the one who is at the loosing end since Nusa can take him back and he still able to contribute with similar impact in the development of Malaysia Badminton or even better as he's working with people that loves and appreciate him more.

Who bow first, I dunno. Staying with BAM as WR1, LCW gets like RM15K per month right? Playing in CBL, LCW makes more than that playing ways less games and still gets to keep his SS winnings, endorsements and bonus $$$ winning majors like RM1M for OLY gold. I have a conspiracy theory for LCW to turn pro and maximize his earnings before he packs it in and improve his skills with better training partners in CHN to better his OLY12 chance. So MS suddenly 'quits' as LCW turns pro and after LCW retires, no one can blame MS for MAS players going downhill. MAS govt saves money and not having to deal with these clowns at BAM and under achieving players that go nowhere fast. Win-win for both.
As for BAM, there are so screwed witha bunch of players that cannot even make it out of QR or 1st round, and the next best player is HH yo-yoing at #2...hahaha!!!

After that Pakistan Kampung champion called you Sir, we will call you SIR Chris:D No money, no talk lah...these are pro players and coaches, gone are the days of playing baddy for fun, pride, nation and all those BS. It is money, money and still money talk. Can't blame players for this is their livelihood and the successful ones win and done well...it is the less successful players (and there are plenty of them in the MAS and everywhere else) that when they retire after they overstay their welcome, they find themselves in big time trouble. Pro baddy is risky business so hit the kettle while it is still hot.
