It could be a blessing for these players to be told their options (i.e. services no longer needed or ya gonna go nowhere) and move on to other careers or hit the books. That is honest and fair, otherwise if these youngsters stay too much longer, they would find themselves in trouble.

better to let them know early, they don't have what it takes to make it. Now they have options to find another career or work harder on their own.

In Korea to be exempted from NS, players need to win Silver in Olympic or Gold in Asia Games.

besides they are only 19-21.
many countries also have players within their age which have not shine...
i think if they largely rely on immigrated foreign talent,
it would not be a local team at all...
