so many developments. Too bad. No enough exposure to go a level higher. No economies of scale? http://www.badzine.net/news/singapore-b-team-spar-or-go/11892/
It could be a blessing for these players to be told their options (i.e. services no longer needed or ya gonna go nowhere) and move on to other careers or hit the books. That is honest and fair, otherwise if these youngsters stay too much longer, they would find themselves in trouble.
+1 better to let them know early, they don't have what it takes to make it. Now they have options to find another career or work harder on their own.
okok... I go... lol. They will beg for mercy.. lol. Too bad that representing country is not considered as a national service. Wonder if in future they can be exempted. Interesting comments. Caught by surprised. Some of those who were released were caught by surprise and they were unhappy. Responding, Singapore Badminton Association president Lee Yi Shyan said the situation could have been handled better. http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/1104775/1/.html
buaya... everything leng lui only... again, they should have another rival body just to make them more competitive. Else, a waste of tax payers money. Might as well get rid of the whole lot since they are not expected to far in most big tournaments.
Better go for quality players than quantity..but then again, if all did not work out ,they can still back on on junior foreign players..
