Played a second night with my bs12 tonight and really loving it. Play mainly front in men's doubles and it is lightning quick for this purpose. Didn't feel like it sacrificed too much power either so very pleased at the moment with the touch and feel it provides.

Man, I was so wired last night I couldn't sleep. That's what happens when your matches finish close to midnight.

Okay, so I had four hard matches last night and used the BS12 for all of them. In fact, I didn't even reach for any of my other rackets for the whole night - the BS12 was just doing it's thing with aplomb and for whatever reason everything was going right.

I'm not sure what Victor have done with the 12, but it has everything the BS10 has, but somehow is better for my game overall. The Mid stiffness doesn't affect stability or the ability to put the shuttle exactly where you want it, and my short game and returns of smashes have improved noticeably with people commenting on it. With this racket I'm pulling off tight net shots that are impossible to return, and my return of smash last night was at the point that people stopped smashing at me because it kept coming back.

I am one very happy camper.

Strangely too, I also had two clashes last night that had me fuming, but when I got off the court to inspect the damage.......not a scratch! I can report that the ditching of the hollographic artwork for chrome was a good move - the 12 is a whole other step above in finish toughness, which is awesome (mostly because my 10 and 11 look like they've been in a war).

I can also report that the VS850, whilst initially losing a little bit of tension, has stabliised and bedded in just fine. I'd recommend if you're using it, go 1lb higher on tension and deal with it for the first dozen or so games, and after that point you'll be loving it.

    Lol, erm....yea sure (not)

No but seriously, good luck with the tournament dude, I'll be routing for ya! try and get one of your buddies to film your games and upload them if you can. Would love to see how you play.

Out of curiosity, is the tournament doubles or singles, and what equipment will you be using?

it is a team tournament, with 21 different corporate teams. my specialty is mixed.

equipment, for sure will have MX80 + BS10 + SW35 + my ARC10s in the bag. will probably restring them all fresh just before with VS850. and then pick the one i like on the day.

that's true. MX is more about control, placement and court coverage than power.

Care to at least offer a few sentences, or a paragraph or two comparing your experiences with both rackets? Just briefly, not asking for a huge essay if you don't have the time. Thanks Kwun.
