I couldn't go to sleep so I remeasured the BP of BS12N with G08 overgrip on the narrowest stable, slightly convex object I could find and it is at 294mm. So most likely around 300mm on stock grip.
Did the same for my 87g/300mm XP70 as well wrapped with G11 instead and is also at 294mm.

That's pretty head heavy for BS12, isn't it supposed to be even-balanced ?

Pretty common for a BS 12 to me. The 2 copies I had were about 298mm +-2mm with Karakal PU Super as a base grip. The nice thing Victor have done with the BS 12 is that the weight is mostly concentrated at the T joint area so it feels really even balanced but when you want punch when push comes to shove it's still there.

Any chance to improve the power rating more than 8.5?

Then you'll end up with a Thruster.

That sounds very much like a Ti10.

Lol now now.....the Thruster has an extended hold feeling. Very unique and almost give you a split second more to apply more force!

As I understand it, BS12 L has a different grip size which obviously changes the balance. Aside from that it's a standard BS12 with different paint.

Doesn't obviously change the balance - the grips are hollow, so you can make them the same weight despite different sizes. That aside, a few grams more or less weight on the grip won't have any influence on the racket's actual feel & behavior.

It was really disappointed as it really lacks of power coach, except the krp version

Is bs12 3u a good switch from vtzf 4u for doubles?

Might even be a little light If available, the Bs11 is a bit head heavier and stiffer as well, which makes it a little more similar to the VT than the Bs12, which is among the fastest rackets you'll find.

Zackz - you need to evaluate this yourself. BS12 will swing faster than VTZF and therefore it should be better in defence and around the net. But overhead it will not match the power of VTZF, although it does have many plus points in the overhead area.
