Well, apparently only Ko used a KRP, and it swung heavier. So apparently the rumors arent false....its just not everyone who uses them

Does anyone know where I can get a blue version of the BS12 now?

Also, do the feel of the BS12N differ a lot from the BS12? I know my BS12 feels as if the weight is at the T-joint and my 9, 10 and 11 feel as if it's distributed evenly across the entire frame. I'm wondering if the BS12N have the weight at the T-joint or not.

Apologies if the issue has been addressed before. Couldn't find it anywhere.

    Thanks,

Mine feels the same as the old Bs12, with the weight apparently concentrated lower. Although my Bs10s weren't very different tbh! The Bs09 had a very big variance in weight, so they all felt different...

Thanks for the reply. I feel like my BS 9, 10 and 11 feel the same and the 12 is different. It's good to know the weight distribution is the same between the 12 and 12N. Now I can comfortably buy a couple of the 12Ns to replace my 12.

So in essence Victor decided to repaint the blue to boost sales? Is there an actual difference between the 2 versions? I know Yonex changed the spec a lot between the AT700 and Ti-10 series and I feared that Victor would do the same.

By the way is there blue BS12 for sale anywhere now?

Yeah, you can get them at a pretty low price from a shop located in St-Eustache, Qc. I'm pretty sure they can answer you in English without problem. They also offer free shipping for Canada.

I ordered my SW35 from them and everything went fine. Quick and without problems.

I'm going through somewhat of a nightmarish scenario with Eric RKEP. I'll be explaining that story in another thread later.

I know you guys told me to avoid the 4UG5 BS12. Unfortunately Eric doesn't have the 3UG5 anymore and he claims that it's sold out at Victor and he doesn't know when they'll have stock again. He told me the two 4UG5 that he have is technically a 3U base on Yonex's weight system. I thought Victor uses the same weight system as Yonex? Anyways, the two 4UG5 that he have left weights 87g and 88g respectively (assuming he's telling me the truth). He's offering the 88g 4UG5 to me. What do you guys think? Is it worth sourcing an actual 3UG5 or I should take his word and go for his 88g 4UG5 BS12? Will the 88g 4UG5 BS12 still have the same kind of power as an actual 3UG5 BS12?

If the 3UG5 copy in question is 88g as well then all things being equal between both copies then yes. The power should be equal.

No, it's the 4UG5 in question...

I'm assuming Eric at RKEP weighed the racket while it's unstrung and with the plastic wrapping on the grip intact or aka dry specs?

What was the dry weight of your 3UG5 BS12?

Read what I said again man ahaha. I was referring to your "actual" 3UG5 BS 12 that you're asking about. Yes Eric weighs the entire racket with the original grip and plastic wrappings. My BS12N is 89g which personally I find just slightly too light.

I think I was a bit upset and I didn't read and conveyed my thoughts correctly. I meant to ask if you think I should just buy the 88g 4UG5 BS12? Or I should just wait until the 3UG5 is in stock? I think I might just go for it. I'm not sure how 1g will make much of a difference between the 88g BS12 and your 89g BS12. Assuming that it is 88g, then it's clearly within range of the 3U spec. Just curious how often a 3UG5 BS12 would exceed 90g?
