    Badminton in Central Coast NSW

    .

Yes, it is still on, Monday nights around 7:30 pm.
Also on Friday at about the same time.

If you don't mind traveling, Badminton can also be found at Hornsby (outer North: Sydney) and Newcastle.

I don't like Hornsby because IMO they are snooty and unfriendly. The light is not so good in their hall.

I find Newcastle is the best because they have games most days/nights of the week.
Nights starting at 7:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (competition night), Thursday, Friday, and well as Saturday afternoon (3pm) and Sunday Morning (9:30 am). They also have games during the daytime on some weekdays. They are very friendly, accept all standards of players and have a strong social aspect, not just the badminton.

    Past winners of Newcastle tournaments

    .
I am hoping that Tony Morgan can update the results of past winners of the Newcastle tournaments. I won the Singles event; but cannot remember if it was in 1985/6/7 (since I have thrown away all my old trophies).

Ok I will have a word with tony about that. I am not certain we have that kind of information readily to hand however. We will do our best.
    Cheers.

    Jim Pritchard could probably recall

    .
    Thanks.

BTW, I am talking about the Newcastle Closed Championships; I think it was Jim Pritchard who presented the trophy to me at the "Jim Pritchard Hall". :):):)

My guess: It was in 1986.

    My name: Chris Hoh.

Maybe, June Bevan can also help you to recall.

Where can i play badminton on the central coast - other than the friday/sundays sessions ran by CCBA. Are these the only sessions played - or are there other private clubs ?
