No Hendrawan/Taufik in Japan Open

    This is like the US economy, one bad news after the another.

    PBSI just announced that they won't be sending Hendrawan nor Taufik to the Japan Open due to their poor performance in recent competitions.

    What's punishing them going to do?
    Geez...
    You're right though Kwun, it's going from worse, to worse.

    No, that is not a punishment. They need further training to prepare for the major tournaments and they are not up to their own high standards yet.
    The major tournament coming up is the world Championships. What would you rather have? Two poor performances in Japan Open and World Champ's or preparation for one really good performance in the World Champioships.......

    if i'm their coach, i would do the latter too. The world, all england, thomas and olympics are key high profile events that all players, coaches and countries like to do well. I hope i havent missed out mentioning other big tournament.

    U missed out the Uber cups as well as the Sudirman cup.
