bought last week at a discounted price (female version), used it today for the second time on a wooden flooring court. The grip was so poor that I could almost glide. It was just too slippery. I don't know how it performs on a rubber mat, but my old adidas court shoes are far better, at least on a wooden floor.:(

Give them some time. I had a similar issue. The finish on the rubber means the sheen is quite slippy. Once the sheen wears of the softer compound is much grippier.

That said the strengths of ascis shoes relative to other shoes is not grip, it is cushioning & comfort.

hopefully it will get better with time. At the moment, it's no better than a pair of totally worn soles.
