    2011 Korea Open PSS: Day 3 Round of 16 (Thursday 27-Jan)

    Few would have expected Wong Mew Choo to defeat Liu Xin yesterday, in the Round of 32. But WMC won 21-18, 21-15 in 37 minutes.

    WMC will be facing the No.1 seed, Wang Xin, today.

    Can WMC win again today?

    2011 Korea Open PSS: The Simon Santoso-vs-Rajiv Ouseph match

    .
    Yesterday, Simon Santoso also showed good form to defeat the No.7 seed, Boonsak Ponsana, 21-16, 21-14 in 44 minutes.

    SS will be facing unseeded Rajiv Ouseph today. It looks like SS can move into the Quarter-Finals.

    Why 'back' luck for PSH?; or do you mean 'bad' luck?

    2011 Korea Open PSS: Matches played between same countrymen/countrywomen

    .
    There will be a few matches played between same countrymen/countrywomen in the Singles events today (Round of 16);

    * KOR: Bae Youn Joo[8]-vs-Sung Ji Hyun
    * CHN: Wang Yihan[3]-vs-Lu Lan
    * CHN: Chen Jin[5]-vs-Wang Zhengming(Q)
    * CHN: Bao Chunlai[8]-vs-Du Pengyu

    Will there be match-fixing in any of these matches? :p:p:p

    Yes, I think WMC is starting doing better lately.
    But, to defeat #1 seeded, Wang Xin, its little bit difficult.
    She has to have great strategy and keep focusing on her game...!
    Good luck for WMC :D :D

    INA : Towi/Butet vs Fran/Pia.
    I pick Towi/Butet.
    H2H is 2-0 for Towi/Butet.

    Macau GPG 2010 :
    Towi/Butet def Fran/Pia 21-13 21-11.

    INA GPG 2010 :
    Towi/Butet def Fran/Pia 21-11 25-23.

    But lately Towi/Butet dont play their 100% game.

    Will anyone be surprised if Wang beats Chen Jin or Du beats Bao? Unless CJ wants his ranking badly.

    Wang Yi Han wont let anything get in her way.

    I have a feeling that WZM will win over CJ and by entering to QTR final, WZM does not need any qualification,,,he wil be ranked inside top 30

    The Towi/Butet-vs-Fran/Pia match

    .
    If our PAW Game has the Towi/Butet-vs-Fran/Pia match, I would have PAWed for Towi/Butet. I think they can win. But my guesses are usually only 50% correct. :eek::eek::eek:

    Our huangkwokhau has answered your Mens' question. :):):)

    For Wang Yihan's match, I think she should defeat Lu Lan easily today. Why? Lu Lan has been inactive for quite a few months now. Lu Lan almost lost her 2nd game to qualifier Ayane Kurihara yesterday.

    on paper, simon is very likely to enter QF, but rajiv has the potential to injure players like he did last year.

    will KKK/TBH able to exert revenge from their 1st round defeat in MAS SS last week? BAM is impatient with them already.

    2011 Korea Open PSS: The Chen Long[4]-vs-Kenichi Tago match

    .
    A few people think that this Chen Long[4]-vs-Kenichi Tago match could be won by KT. Anyway, both of them needed to play 3-games matches yesterday (Round of 32). If their match today is to go to another 3 games, surely the winner will be tired for the Quarter-Finals.

    Indeed... among the youngsters, these two players are the most outstanding... I pick CL to seal the win in tight straight games
