Hello there. I am new to badminton and was digging information so it brought me here. Today newly bought Victor Super Waves 35 model. Looks ok and very light since I'm a tennis player. So anything lighter than my Tennis racket is consider feather light. Got play badminton occasionally can say it's enjoyable

Hi, may I know where u bought your SW37 at RM380 including string, grip and bag? I would say it is a good price. Would like to hear from u more about how SW37 perform after u used it for some times.
I am considering to get it as my second racket after I bought MX80. I understand that SW37 is more friendly than MX80, I can switch to it when I feel tired using MX80
Thanks.

Hi Aryan, I'll pm u the location I bought as this price shouldn't be heard be supplier
Regarding the usage, it's my main racket for 2 or 3 hours each session already. Love it so much as it will not drain my energy at all. As for power, it's has improved but THIS is very depend on individual capabilities. A 20years old state player fren of mine using bs10 could deliver a crazy whooping smashes which always caught attention few court beside and we smash hard like hell could only achieved 70% of his power :-)I'm considering selling off my bs11 and get another sw37. Mx80 it's a good racket but it's a far way too heavy for me. But for you, I think for a mx80 user, u should able to handle a lot more racket man. Basically sw37 is a very very good racket bro compare to my experienced user of vt70, arc10 and bs11. But I understand Far East distribution has no more stock and the next batch would be November perhaps. The place I bought has a last piece and u may check it out. Cheers

Kvn40000, there are BCers comment that SW37 is more demanding than MX80 which surprise me (refer thread of review of BS12) it is due to very small sweet spot that we can get out of it to unleash the power. would like to hear from u as u enjoys using it so much.

i quite confuse about thisi racket, since in here and taiwan forum review are totally diffrent,
in taiwan forum they said this racket is more heavt head then sw35 and very demanding, very hard to drive
but in here ppl said it is friendly and easy to play with

Depends very much on what you're used to. If you're used to stiff rackets, but don't like high BPs, the SW will be a bit more demanding - whereas the MX is perfect. I for one struggle with softer, head heavier rackets like the VT70 now that I'm used to the MX. I reckon the SW37 is somewhat similar to it.
The MX cuts through the air beautifully, so drives and defense feel very easy, whereas a head heavier racket with worse aerodynamics will be more sluggish, hence more demanding.

VS850 loses much tension - I'd rather recommend the BG80 instead. NBG98 is powerful, but slippery and feels kinda numb/dead below 26lbs...

If you prestretch it manually before giving it to your stringer, it only loses 1 lb or so.
. That's what I did: looped it around a staircase spindle and pulled on it gradually until I felt there was no more creep. Ended up stretching it by about 8" total. Next time I'll try for 10-12".
