Exciting games ahead for both singles and doubles.... ;) Enjoy.:D

Can TKH give tips to KKK/TBH? ;) Doubles are very open. Anyone can win this. ;)

SS and LD should be a good one. ;)

Is good to see Simon Santoso advance further and meet the real challenge, even he may not win over Lin Dan but it does provide measuring gage about his current status in terms of skill, agility and mental toughness. I also think SS has lots of potential room to improve and shall have quick break through under the guidance of new coach Li Mao. We may see the second Lee Chong Wei out of him.
Bravo to Chien/Cheng, for a while I didn't believe this Taipei pair believes they can beat any Chinese pair ... I hope they can futher solidify their #1 position.
KKK/TBH vs LYD/JJS, I don't see the Malaysian pair overcome and advance and is funny to see head coach Rexy made comment about not have fun hence unable to play their best. Is this the best advice Rexy can provide? You think top notch players win because they having fun while competing? I thought winning has a lot to do with training, learn from the Chinese please.

    Prediction time:

    XD:
ZN/ZYL over CX/MJ - the more cohesive pair wins this one
Ko/Ha over TJM/TQ - close but the Koreans have external powers on their side

    WS:
SJH over WYH - the Chinese got a freebie but that only delays the inevitable. SJH still pumped from her upset win over WX
WSX over Porntip - can't see the Thai winning this one. WSX too good

    MS:
LCW over DPY - one way traffic. LCW won't want to miss the opportunity to face LD in the final
LD over SS - might go to 3 games but LD always has that extra gear

    WD:
WXL/YY over Cheng/Chien - poor TPE girls have to play the real world #1
TQ/ZYL over DJ/PP - a foregone conclusion. DJ seems hurt and PP is .... (nobody wants to say it)

    MD:
JJS/LYD over KKK/TBH - the MAS pair in patchy form. And just in case, external help can be called upon if necessary
Bo/Mo over Ko/Yoo - The Danes are in irresistible form. Even external factors won't save the Koreans

Why everybody says WXL/YY the real world #1 ? Check the reality:

even though WXL/YY has played over 1 year (inside Chinese super league), they lost several there to Ma Jin/DJ.

check their results to the new scratch double TQ/ZYL, it's more surprising, WXL/YY lost 2 matches while won nothing recently at Asian games and Malaysia SS against TQ/ZYL.

Err... I think it's only me saying that. It's only my opinion based on what I have observed. They look like they are going to be unbeatable hence my postulation.

Not only you. Besides you, LYB has claimed that before. He said YY/WXL's the unbeatable flagship he built. But this unsinkable flagship has been sunk twice by TQ/ZYL twice already in the only 2 encounters.

Oh wow, what an honour to be mentioned alongside LYB's name (blush :)). You gotta admit LYB knows what he's doing, so it's gonna come good sooner than later

it will be very difficult for KKK/TBH to get past LYD/JJS based on their current form, unless they reproduce the form that makes them so excellent in year 2007.

I think its more of an internal factor for kkk/tbh to win this. It is in their minds. Strong minds prevails. They have to play like there's no tomorrow. Not impossible. JJS is a good smasher but he can get tired. If there's a solid defence to cross, who knows. As for kkk/tbh attacking, it will have to be furious and non-stop whipping. Stamina will be a concern. ;) This is exciting. ;)
