<irony>I think Yonex is strategy brilliant</irony>.. Change the color of your rackets every week or so.. That makes it so much easier for the clone makers, who can dont need to bother with repliicating the right color.. As consumers finally will have no idea how the original racket should look, they can sell the fakes claiming it is just the "newest" color :-D Thanks Yonex, for helping out the fake makers /Twobeer
i dont see any yonex racket changing colours in weeks nor months. took years. renew the look whenever yonex decided to keep producing these models? new models coming out more regularly, can the fake-makers claim it is new model rather than new colour? there many buyers bought the fake without knowing it or using it. which party is at the 'wrong' side?
Nope, I got the pic from a undisclosed location which is selling them. ---------------------- Looks like someone already gotten their hands on it !
I must admit, the colour is nice, but is there any difference between this and the "old" colour version ? Because the original version is being sold for £75-85 at the moment in the UK, whereas the new one, will be on sale for the usual £120
It's mainly a cosmetic change. Oh so in UK, they are raising up the price of the new color? Does not seem to make sense since it is the same racket, therefore it should be the same price like the dealers would be normally doing.
No, they discounted the old colour in expectation of the new colour. Common practice in the UK, in Asia it's cause to raise prices of old colour . And over here nothing ever changes, old or new colour .
As demolidor said, they reduce the price to clear old stock, so there are bargains to be found (I managed to get 2 AT700LTD for £150) they have also discounted the Arcsaber 9, and as mentioned AT700. I am just waiting for them to discount some more rackets. Will this Arc 7 be slightly stiffer/head heavy or is it purely cosmetic ?
