Is it coaching, stamina, training, mental strength, technique, speed, defense, tactics, form, footwork, racket, or what?

LD can lose to even weaker players like Park Sung Hwan, but when he faces the world #1 in LCW, it is a forgone conclusion that LD will win.

the answers is all in the match.. I dont know will things be different if Misbun was a round but I think that a champion needs to go against the odds.

Because he will change to a fierce looking face when he fought LCW. Nah, just kidding. It might be that he's just playing around with the other players but not LCW, you know, who doesn't want to beat the world's no.1 player?

    1. He is not as tall.
    2. His mental strength is not sufficient..In other words he crumbles under pressure.

Badminton fans are beginning to behave more like soccer fans in Europe and England and may one day reach their stage of street brawls and knifing between fans of rival groups. With such passion insults are hurled and things can turn nasty.
A case in point, before today's LD/LCW showdown the LCW fans have been running down the LD fans. Now with the benefit of knowing the outcome of the Big Battle the LD fans are now hurling insults the other way. This is building up to more massive confrontations in the future.
Perhaps LD should skip a few more tournaments just to keep the 'fire' alive because more LCW fans will once again insult LD until he can take it no more and then be forced to come out to do battle with LCW yet once again!
Such is the passion that LCW/LD can generate!

It's pretty brutal on these forums.... but luckily it's a internet thing...
In real life, people tend to be actually very nice people.

Is this supposed to be good for badminton as a popular sport?

After watching today's match, to be honest i don't really have an answer too though. I can see the same too with LCW's face expression during the prize ceremony.

LD is physically & mentally more gifted than LCW...

LD Vs LCW will always be 80-20

LCW can win someday but mostly will be by LD...

I really dislike the word 'inferior'

Could it not be 'why lcw only lost to Lin dan?'

Anyway, what you said maybe true, for the time being :D

Let's see what happens in the following months going by bwf rules, who is actually made of steel :D

Lcw has only one player to beat and tonight he came close :)

Whereas Lin Dan has to skip 3 tournaments to challenge lcw for that :D

Let's see if he still has that fast to heal injury in the months to come,

And for that, he still has a string of players coming very close to beating him:D

The Korean Open : It wasn't a fair playing field. Lin Dan has the fit and handsome Xia Xuanze coaching him. On LCW's side, a fat chubby guy. Who the hell is that fatty anyway? LCW probably lost out on tactics... He was up there with LD on speed and power... Send the chubby guy to MDs and get Misbun back.
