If the 4U has the same head heavy feel as the 2U,
Would you still want the 2U?
Obviously the 4U has more advantages especially for old muscle like mine
For the younger muscle I suppose you can smash harder and more repetitions
Look at yonex first generation racket, it was an 'L' (110-120grams?
)
Then 2L, 3L finally followed by the 'U', 2U, 3U & 4U

No sir, I'd just practically go to 4U!
'L', never heard (much more the 2L &3L) and only learned here in BC that before 2U was a U
.
Must be like a lighter version of training racquet but the heaviest of regulation racquets
! Before I know training racquets are 160 grams, now I see 150 grams training racquets. Looks like downsizing is the trend instead of supersizing for maximum effect!

I think the 'L' series was the technology of the 60's to 70's
and the 'U' was introduced in the 80's
The yonex models:
L > b7000, 8000 ... including the wooden rackets
(60's to 70's)
2L/3L > blacken 8100, (70's to 80's)
U/2U > carbonex series 7, 8, 8dx, 9, 10, 15, 20 ..... (80's to 90's)
3U > most of the present models (end of 80's until present)
4U > very limited models that I know of starting year 2000
So, based on a little bit of yonex history
I do think the vt80 is worth a try

well i think they will definitely come out with newer and better VT series but notice they will never mention things like its better then the others in the series
just highlighting the pros for the racket released.
anyway not necessary that later model in the VT series will be alot better. alot of players still like AT700 =)
