xtra stiff, slimmer shaft... Gosen Ryoga Tenbu use M40 0.67 xtra stiff shaft. I don't think it will be slimmer than this...

    2. Comes in 4U and 3U, this time 3U being the "main" weight (VT70's main weight was 4U thus having 4UG4 as the main specification available).

    3. Comes with warranty tension of 26lbs for 4U and 27lbs for 3U; hooray for us high tension fanatics

    4. ALL RUMOURS regarding VOLTRIC 9DX(??!!) have been proven to be erroneous and totally misleading.

Last but not least, possible sample pictures...

I'm looking forward to the Yonex offerings in 2011. I like the increased tension for warranty as seen on the ARC8DX.

Looks great. If it's headheavy and xstiff I must make a tough decision. VT80 or MX80.
Does anybody know what technologies are included in VT80? If it's only a VT70 with different specs I will buy the MX80.

i heard all the Yonex 2011 racquet's are infused with Nanopreme technology. here's details about Nanopreme,
Nanopreme(TM), the carbon nanotube (CNT) enhanced epoxy resin results in improved performance of golf clubs and racquets. During product testing, Nanopreme scored improvements of 14 percent, 21 percent, and 24 percent, in flexural strength (bending strength), flexural modulus (stiffness) and impact strength (addressing external shock) respectively compared to conventional carbon materials. This results in products that are lighter, stronger, and more resilient than existing racquets "
    so, your opinions?

Isn't MX80 even balanced? I think there is a new chart on AT700 as well and apparently the VT80 has taken the spot of AT700 on it. If I remember correctly ..., been a week since I read that and started the thread on Nanopreme in this very section (of which VT80 will be the first badminton model to have it featured).

Seriously ? This is 40 more than what an AT900T/P sells for, and double the price of a AT700 !

You'd have to compare their other prices to see if they are more expensive in general. Probably it will retail on Z-Slash level initially, VT70 wasn't/isn't exactly cheap either.

(cr*p, missed Match of the Day again ...)

Of course not. How can you hold a big introduction at the All England if it is already on display in the catalogue?
